One of the best ways to make Hardin Baptist feel like home is by getting involved in a smaller community.

Sunday School

Sunday School is a great place to build friendships, study God’s Word, and connect with people in a similar stage of life. With classes offered throughout Sunday morning, there’s a place for everyone.

Wednesday Night Small Groups

Looking for a deeper community? Our Wednesday night small groups provide an opportunity to grow in your faith, pray together, and build relationships that go beyond Sunday mornings.

Hardin Men

Men’s groups meet throughout the week at different times and locations, offering biblical encouragement, accountability, and authentic fellowship.

Rooted Women

Our women’s Precept Bible studies meet throughout the week with several meeting times available. These groups help women study Scripture deeply while building lasting friendships.

Ministries for Every Age

Church is a family, and we have opportunities for everyone to get connected.

• Kids Ministry offers safe, engaging environments for babies through fifth grade on Sundays and Wednesdays.
• Youth Ministry helps middle and high school students grow through worship, biblical teaching, small groups, and fun events.
• College Ministry provides community and biblical encouragement for college students as they navigate this exciting season of life.

Childrens Ministry

Help kids know and follow Jesus by serving in our Children’s Ministry! Whether you enjoy teaching, helping with check-in, or serving behind the scenes, there’s a place for you to make an eternal impact.

Welcome Team

Be one of the first friendly faces guests meet each Sunday and help create a welcoming atmosphere. (See JK for more information) 

Sunday Hospitality

Serve by picking up donuts, keeping the coffee stations stocked, or helping maintain a warm, inviting hospitality area. Here are specific needs: 

• Donuts:
  • Pick up donuts from Sammons in Murray (Pockets gas station beside movie theater) at 7 am every other Sunday and bring them to church! 
• Coffee:
  • Help make sure coffee/ donut areas are stocked and clean

Information Booth

Help answer questions, welcome guests, and connect people with ministries and events.

Clothing Closet

Serve our community by helping organize and distribute clothing to families in need.

Social Media Team

Use your creative gifts through photography or video to help share the story of what God is doing at Hardin Baptist Church. Here are specific needs:

• Photography:
  • Need someone to service and take pictures on Sunday mornings (normal Sunday morning, baptisms, etc.) and at church events. 
• Video:
  • Someone to help collect videos to make reels and other video content for HBC on Sunday morning and at HBC events. 

Baptism Team

Help make baptism Sundays meaningful by serving families and assisting with preparations behind the scenes.

Sunday Morning Tech Team

Whether it’s ProPresenter, audio, cameras, or livestream production, our Tech Team plays a vital role in helping lead distraction-free worship each week. Training is available for many of these positions. Here are specifics needs: 

• 3 – propresenter techs
• 2 – sound techs – needs prior experience
• 1-2 -livestream production/cameras

Student Ministry Volunteers

Invest in the next generation by serving on our Adult Volunteer Team, Parent Safety Team, or Food Set-Up Team during Wednesday night Impact. Here are specifics needs: 

• 10-15 people for our zAdult Volunteer Team”

• 3-5 for “Food Set-Up Team”
