Local Missions

As disciples of Jesus, we are committed to loving our neighbors and making disciples for Jesus. At Hardin we seek to live out the great commission both locally and globally, for the glory of God and the good of others.

We believe we have been placed in our local community to love our neighbors and share the good news of Jesus. To fulfill this calling, we seek to meet both physical and spiritual needs of people in our community. This includes our weekly food pantry and clothing closet, assistance offering, and ongoing counseling for individuals and families. We also have yearly events such as Trunk or Treat, Thanksgiving Turkey Meals, Christmas toy giveaway (Helping His Kids), and Backyard Bible Clubs at local apartment complexes.

Global Missions

Jesus has not only called us to spread the gospel in our community, but also around the world. We seek to do this through GIVING, GOING, and TRAINING.

Giving

We give generously to the Kentucky Baptist Convention Cooperative fund that helps train, send, and support missionaries all over the world. In addition, we support numerous missionaries who have been sent out of our church.

Going

Each year, teams from HBC embark on short term mission trips to Arizona, Nicaragua, and Brazil. These short term trips have long term impacts on both the people we reach and the people we send. Are you interested in going on a short term mission trip with us? Begin the conversation here: info@hardinbaptist.org.

Training

We have a vision to see churches all over the world strengthen through sound teaching and shepherding from gospel-centered pastors. To fulfill this vision, we send our pastors all over the world to train and equip other pastors. So far, we have trained pastors in Brazil, Nicaragua, Thailand, and Congolese pastors in Arizona.
