Serve Murray State Students!
It is no secret that there is value in first impressions, but when it comes to back to school the value is in the first connections. The first connection a student makes when they step foot onto campus can influence not only their college path but their eternities. We want our church family to be the first connection they make in hopes to connect them to the good news of the gospel. The calendar for the first week of school is filled for this purpose! We need you to partner with us in serving and prayer as we seek to make connections in the first week. We need you to help by volunteering to prepare and serve food. The first week of school we will be feeding over 400 students! Your time, service, and prayers will not be in vain as we seek to kick off another amazing year.
Back to School Gathering at the Pavilion: Sunday, August 18
This gathering is for our college students to reunite for a time of fellowship and invite new people they have met on campus. We would love to have church members ready to serve and welcome back our students.
– 5:45 PM-8:00 PM: 6 volunteers to be present during the event and help with clean up

BCM Cookie Event: Monday, August 19
This is an opportunity for all incoming freshmen to meet the local churches in the area by treating them to cookies and milk.
3 PM Kitchen downtown, 4 volunteers to cook 30 dozen cookies

Baptist Campus Ministry Dinner: Thursday, August 22
3 pm – 4 volunteers to prep salad bake brownies and deliver food to BCM 5:30
5:30 PM – 6 volunteers to serve food at the BCM on the Murray State Campus
SERVE NOW: Serve a meal at BCM on the Murray State Campus
BCM Progressive Dinner: Friday, August 23
This is an opportunity given to every incoming freshman who is involved at the BCM to visit our church for appetizers. We need 15 people to help provide an appetizer that can feed 30 people.
